“All killer and no filler” – Jesse Quin
Last night at the Minneapolis gig Derek, Brenda and I presented the band with our flag. Earlier in the day we went down the line asking fans to sign it. A big thank you to everyone who did! They really liked it!

(Tom didn’t come out, so we were unable to get a picture with him)
We spoke with Jesse after the show and he talked about the band’s next album, saying that it will be “all killer and no filler” and that everyone is getting on Tim about the songs and nitpicking at everything.
Thank you again to everyone we talked to and met yesterday for making it an awesome day. The interaction and community Keane fans have with each other is incredible, and we at Keaneshine are very proud to be part of it!

P.S Last night, Keane played ‘Side’ with Fran Healy as an “end of tour surprise”. Here’s the video!
ALSO! Here’s the public link to my facebook album from last night. I’m still sorting through the pictures to find the good ones, which is proving to be a rather difficult task (300+pictures!!!)

Derek’s Follow Up!
I’d like to thank everyone who signed our flag (which was just about everybody in line waiting for the doors to open from 2pm-5pm. It was a really fun night although the venue was at least 90-100 degrees inside! It was really cool to meet some of you out there from the Keane Forum and other places like YouTube and Facebook!
Thanks a lot everyone!
PS – The night before I while meeting them in Milwaukee, WI. Jesse told me that Mt. Desolation is getting its official website soon and that once the album is out they will be touring in the United States (among other unofficial countries and venues) and that the album will be out in October!
Hello from Brenda!
Hello all. I am the newest member to Keaneshine. I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Brenda and I have been a Keane fan for 5 years now. I’ve seen them 4 times. I am happy to be a part of Keaneshine because I do spend a lot of my time listening to and reading up on the band.
Last night was a lot of fun. I enjoyed all of the energy the fans brought with them to 1st ave. I have never been so hot at a concert in my life.
I would add to the pictures Derek and Melani have posted, but I think they got the night covered.
Stay tuned.
